Are there any functional differences between the educational version of Sketchup Pro and the commercial version?
The educational version of SketchUp Pro is functionally exactly the same as the $695 commercial SketchUp Pro license. No watermark appears on images created with the educational version of SketchUp Pro. Please note: The educational version of SketchUp Pro is a termed license and is to be used for educational purposes by qualifying academic customers only; it cannot be used for commercial (for-profit) work of any kind.

Who can purchase a Sketchup Pro Student license?
You must be a current student at an accredited educational institution to purchase. After you place an order, you will be required to send valid academic proof verifying your academic status in order for us to process your order. You will be given instructions on how to submit academic proof once you complete the order. Student licenses cannot be used for commercial (for-profit) work of any kind.

Who qualifies to receive a free Sketchup Pro Teacher license?
Teacher licenses are available for free to teachers who would like to use SketchUp Pro as a part of their curriculum. You must be an educator at an accredited educational institution to purchase. After you place an order, you will be required to send valid academic proof verifying your academic status in order for us to process your order. You will be given instructions on how to submit academic proof once you complete the order. Teacher licenses cannot be used for commercial (for-profit) work of any kind.

I'm a staff member at a school and do not use Sketchup Pro to teach students. Can I request a free Sketchup Pro Teacher license or purchase a Sketchup Pro Student license?
Staff members do not qualify to receive a free Sketchup Pro Teacher license and do not qualify to purchase a Sketchup Pro Student license. Staff members must purchase the commercial version of Sketchup Pro from www.sketchup.com.

When I enter my serial and authorization number, I receive an error message saying my codes are invalid.

My Sketchup Pro license has expired, how do I renew it?
There isn’t a renewal process for Sketchup because the license only lasts for 1-Year. When the education license expires, you will need to place a new order for a license with proof of your continued academic status.
