Your proof of eligibility must be a document issued by the institution with your name, school name, and current date.*

TEACHERS, FACULTY, STAFF:

• Faculty or staff paycheck stub
• Dated ID card
• Official letter from the registrar of the educational institution indicating current employment
• Link to your listing as a faculty/staff member on official school website

HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS & TEACHERS:
Defined as a homeschooling program which provides K-12 education to a student or students.

Send ONE of the following types of academic proof:

• Dated copy of a letter of intent to homeschool*
• Current membership ID to a homeschool association (for example, the Home School Legal Defense Association)*
• Dated proof of purchase of curriculum for the current academic school year*

How to submit your Academic Proof:

•Fax a photocopy of academic proof to 650.934.3234 with your order number
•Email a scanned image of academic proof including your order number to id@creationengine.com in JPG or PDF format.
•Email link to your listing as a faculty/staff member on official school website with your order number

Note: Emailing only your school ID number is insufficient.

What is the difference between the products offered on this website and the commercial versions of these products?
The products sold on this website are functionally identical to the commercial versions. The vendors Creation Engine represents provide special pricing for educational and nonprofit customers. As a qualified educational or nonprofit customer, you are eligible to purchase software at a discount price. Nonprofits are eligible for discounts from the following manufacturers..

Is the software purchased on this site a legal, licensed copy?
Yes. We are an authorized educational/nonprofit retailer for the products on our website. Once you register your software, you will be in full compliance with software copyright regulations.

Who is qualified to buy software from Creation Engine?
You need to be a registered student to receive educational pricing. After you graduate or are no longer registered as an active student, you will not qualify for educational pricing. Qualified institutions, nonprofits, and faculty/staff members are also eligible to purchase software.

How do I receive my free upgrade?
If you purchased a product from Creation Engine that qualified for a free upgrade, contact the appropriate manufacturer directly. For Adobe products call 800.492.3623 to receive your free upgrade. If required, you may request a copy of your invoice.

SketchUp Pro Instructors with a non-expired license for a previous version can obtain a free upgrade if they registered their license with an .edu email address. Please enter your User Name, Company, and Serial Number from your current license on the SketchUp Upgrade Wizard page, click the "Next" button to validate your license, and then click on "Upgrade" on the next page to obtain your free upgrade to SketchUp Pro 8. If you didn't register with an .edu email address, please email your current license information to customer_service@creationengine.com for your free upgrade.

SketchUp Pro Student users with a non-expired license for a previous version can obtain a free upgrade. Please email your current license information to customer_service@creationengine.com for your free upgrade.

Orders placed by 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time (11:00 a.m. Pacific Time for US Priority Mail) are processed within one business day for in-stock items - we must receive or have on file current academic proof before the order is processed. Product availability is noted during checkout.

2. Creation Engine ships all international orders via the International Priority Mail. International shipping rates vary.
3. Orders delivered within California are assessed sales tax (8.25% for deliveries within Santa Clara County, 7.25% for deliveries outside of Santa Clara County). Orders delivered outside California are not assessed any sales tax.
4. Next Day Shipping takes one business day for delivery.
5. For shipments to P.O. Box addresses, we only offer delivery via Priority Mail.

1. You will be notified if your order includes backordered items. Out-of-stock items will be shipped as soon as they are available. If you would like to check the status of your order, an email confirmation will be sent to you.
2. No additional shipping charges will be incurred on backordered items. Exceptions include shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and International Orders.
3. Backorders on overnight shipments will be shipped to arrive within two business days.



1. Some products qualify for return/exchange within 30 days of receipt. To return or exchange qualifying products, you must contact Creation Engine within 30 days of receiving the product for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Use our online forms to return your order or exchange your order, and an RMA Number will be emailed to you.

2. A restocking fee of 15% will be charged on all returned products. Repack the product in a secure shipping box, and ship the product back to us via DHL, UPS, FedEx, or US Mail. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you insure the package in case the shipment is damaged or lost in transit. We cannot process returns for items lost or damaged in transit. Creation Engine must receive the returned product within 15 days of the issuance of the RMA number.

3. Return authorization is subject to the following conditions:
•Products must be in a resellable condition - undamaged and unmarked, including all documentation and packaging. Software must be sealed and unopened in unmarked and resellable condition.
•The product cannot be registered with the manufacturer.
•ESD (electronic software download) versions of software are not returnable under any circumstance.
•Creation Engine will not accept any return of products that the manufacturer of the products will not accept.
•Creation Engine retains discretion to deny any damaged returned product.
•Customer pays return shipping fees.
•If the product is returned in acceptable condition, Creation Engine will refund the purchase price of the returned product, less a 15% restocking fee. Creation Engine cannot refund shipping and handling charges unless the return is a result of our error.
•If there are any errors with your order, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. We cannot accept returns on misshipments after 30 days.
•Clearance items are non-returnable.
